I don’t know about you, but I’ve always loved nature. There’s something truly magical about the mountains – they offer a different kind of peace and relaxation that everyone should experience at least once a year. During my recent trip to the Italian Alps, I discovered exactly that: a peaceful oasis surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Let me take you there.
Tyrol – A Place Like No Other
This was my very first visit to Tyrol, and I was absolutely amazed by the beauty of its landscapes. Tyrol is a historical region stretching across western Austria and northern Italy, home to the spectacular Dolomites – one of Europe’s most breathtaking mountain ranges and part of the Alps.
Did you know that the Dolomites are a UNESCO World Heritage Site? The entire mountain range, made up of nine different mountain systems, has been recognized for its extraordinary natural beauty.
Tyrol is famous for skiing, with the winter season lasting from December until April, and sometimes even May. However, it’s much more than a ski destination. Whether you enjoy hiking, running, cycling or simply spending time in nature, you’ll find something to love here. Charming alpine villages nestled among the mountains create a fairytale atmosphere in every season.
Majestic Unique SPA – A luxury hotel in Tyrol
I discovered Majestic Unique SPA while planning my trip from Poland. Since I’d never visited Tyrol before, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to experience both the region and the Alps for the first time.
As it was October, just before the winter season, the weather was pleasantly mild, making it an ideal time to explore the mountains. I wasn’t disappointed.
Both the hotel and the surrounding area of Brunico are absolutely stunning. Although Majestic Unique SPA is quite a large property, it never feels crowded thanks to its well-designed layout with separate accommodation wings.
I stayed in a first-floor suite overlooking Kronplatz, one of South Tyrol’s most popular ski resorts, located less than one kilometre from the hotel. During winter, you can even ski directly back to the hotel. The location is excellent – close to the bus stop and only about a 20-minute walk from the charming centre of Brunico.

Suites and rooms
I stayed in a Superior Suite featuring a king-size bed, a private balcony, a freestanding bathtub and a separate walk-in shower.
The suite was spacious and beautifully designed, with a comfortable sofa, two TVs, bunk beds and plenty of storage space.
What impressed me most were the thoughtful details. The room included soft bathrobes, slippers, luxury toiletries, a wellness bag, complimentary mineral water and even a hiking backpack for exploring the Dolomites.
The exceptionally comfortable bed and premium-quality bedding made it difficult to get up every morning. Warm wooden interiors and traditional Alpine colours created a cosy atmosphere, while the freestanding bathtub was the perfect place to relax after a day spent in the mountains.

Welness and pools Majestic Unique SPA
One of the hotel’s highlights is its impressive 1,200 m² wellness area.
Guests can enjoy both an indoor panoramic pool overlooking the Dolomites and a heated outdoor pool, making it possible to swim even on cooler days. Both pools also feature whirlpools.
The wellness facilities include Finnish, Turkish, steam, infrared and bio saunas, a modern fitness centre, several relaxation rooms and a beautiful outdoor sauna with mountain views.
One of my favourite places was the relaxation room with its cosy fireplace overlooking the Dolomites. Thanks to the peaceful atmosphere and stylish interior design, you could easily spend the entire day here.

Majestic Unique SPA – dining experience
The hotel restaurant is open throughout the day, and guests can choose between a bed & breakfast stay or the Half Board package.
I personally recommend Half Board, as it includes breakfast, lunch and a five-course dinner featuring delicious regional cuisine.
The food at Majestic Unique SPA is exceptional. Whether you enjoy meat, fish or vegetarian dishes, there’s something for everyone.
Breakfast is served as a generous buffet with a wide selection of cheeses, cold cuts, fresh bread, homemade pastries, made-to-order omelettes, cereals, protein porridge and even a fresh juice station where you can prepare your own healthy drinks.
Dinner is served à la carte, with a choice of starters, main courses and desserts. Wine is available for an additional charge. Every meal was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.
